Awarded Engineering Journalism Award
Penn State Public Broadcasting's 90-minute documentary, Liquid Assets: The Story of Our Water Infrastructure has been awarded the 2008 Engineering Journalism Award from the American Association of Engineering Societies.
The award recognizes outstanding reporting of an event or issue that furthers public understanding of engineering. Former recipients include members of the Washington Post, FORTUNE Magazine, and Chicago Tribune.
The award citation recognizes “outstanding reporting about aging water infrastructure in the United States, and for helping the American public understand the critical needs for engineering’s role ahead.”
